Elena Klinkner is a print and digital designer living in South Minneapolis. She currently works as a children's book designer for Mighty Media (publishing, packaging, and production company). In addition to working for Mighty Media, Elena has over two years experience working as a production designer for Bearport Publishing. While serving in this role, she gained valuable experience designing and producing narrative non-fiction books for young readers. Elena has also worked for the city of St. Louis Park creating logos, icons and social media graphics for promoting citywide events and information. In this role, she developed physical brochures, flyers, posters, postcards, booklets and calendars for a variety of city departments. With every project, Elena has been dedicated to creating appealing and functional work that meets the needs of her clients.
In 2011, Elena earned a B.F.A. degree in art and design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout where she focused on graphic design and fine art. In May of 2020, Elena completed a two year post-baccalaureate program in Graphic Design at Concordia University-Saint Paul. Elena is interested in pursuing projects involving logo and identity design, editorial design, advertising design, and product design. Digital illustration, lettering arts and pattern design are creative areas she continues to explore. When not at work, Elena enjoys taking long walks around city lakes, going on coffee dates and exploring new places with friends and family.
